As a competitive cycling, I also know how passion and motivation feed athletes. We strive to achieve our goals, stay competitive and always look for the best performances.
Shortly after joining the company, I reflected on how to launch Herbalife Nutrition in the field of sports nutrition to provide the best nutritional support to teams and world-class athletes we sponsored. To be authentic about the nutrition of our athletes, I was convinced that we needed a sporting nutrition line that could put a High quality sports drink In the hands of the Galaxy, which at the time, had the legend David Beckham bearing the "Herbalife" logo on his chest.
We also thought that a new line of sports products would excite our distributors, would give more credibility to our brand and attract a generation of future young, sports and motivated leaders.
This vision, this dynamism and this passion inspired us to create Herbalife24 - A sporting nutrition line for the athlete over 24 hours - 10 years ago.
Herbalife product innovation for superior performance
This vision became a reality in September 2009, when I met two cyclists and entrepreneurs, John Heiss and Casey Weaver, at the summit of the Annual Classic Racing Piuma of Los Angeles, sponsored by the Lagrange local cycling club.
